It’s Purple Friday! Are You In Your Gear?? (Baltimore Maryland Ravens Fan Photographer)

We are geared up and ready for some FOOTBALL! The boys and I are sporting our favorite colors for the first Purple Friday! Since we are kicking off the season right I’m posting some of the pictures I snapped at training camp in July when I took Ham for Rookies Day. The Ravens are so awesome for providing their fans with up close access to the players and coaches. I really think it helped my little 4 year old flag football player to watch the big guys practice. It seems like he takes practice a little more seriously after watching Joe call off “Down, Set, Hut!”
Since he is still too small to get in “the pit” with the big kids we had to wait around on the sidelines for someone to spot us.
That someone was Jameel McClain. He had a group visiting training camp that day from Philly. Ham and I blended in with the high schoolers long enough to hear McClain tell the kids to “Never leave the field with regrets, go after every ball, try your best on every play.” He is so right, what a great message about football and life. When it came time for McClain to sign our ball Ham was off climbing on the bleachers, which to him was much more interesting than meeting #53.
After meeting McClain, Coach Harbaugh walked up to our end of the field. Ham really wanted to meet him- “because he tells Joe Flacco what to do!” He signed a few autographs and had to go without making it to our end of the line. Ham was devistated! I couldn’t believe it…he started to cry and a stranger offered him a signed Ray Rice photo but no he wanted to meet the coach. It totally broke my heart. He recovered quickly though when he saw a cheerleader and got the same silly look on his face as last year at training camp! I told him we will try to meet the coach another time. Maybe Pop Pop will play golf with him or something:)
If you haven’t been to training camp go next year. I’ve made it my Mommy day with Ham and G will go once he learns how to sit for longer than two seconds!

Holiday Mini Sessions! (Pasadena, MD Photographer)

It’s Mini Session time! Labor day has come and gone and the kiddos are back in school and sports. It’s time to start thinking about your holiday cards and fall photos. I love photographing families in the fall. The low in the sky light and the yellow and orange colors make the perfect backdrop. I know the economy is tough and you may not be able to splurge for an unlimited Stacy Meadows Photography session so why not meet me at my favorite park in Pasadena for a mini. Actually, 30 minute mini sessions are perfect amount of time for the kids and the hubby:) I am available in the evenings on Wednesday, Thursday and some Friday’s as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The best light in the fall is about an hour before sunset. All of the photos in this post were taken during a 30 minute mini session this summer at the park. I took one look at baby D and OH MY GOODNESS! I usually don’t feel the pang when I photograph newborns but I was really feeling the pang with this sweet little girl. She was a dream to photograph and I seriously thought about slipping her into my camera bag! We had so much fun dressing her up and she let us do anything! It’s photos like these that make me think about trying for a girl…

I needed to post my maternity session with Baby L’s Mom and Dad before I photograph him this weekend! Baby L finally made his entrance last Tuesday. I photographed Pam and Matt’s wedding last year so I was very excited to find out they were expecting and that I was going to get to photograph this wonderful milestone as well! We held our maternity session a little early since Matt was scheduled to leave for active duty overseas before L’s scheduled arrival. Matt is there now and we pray everyday for his safe return.
