We are geared up and ready for some FOOTBALL! The boys and I are sporting our favorite colors for the first Purple Friday! Since we are kicking off the season right I’m posting some of the pictures I snapped at training camp in July when I took Ham for Rookies Day. The Ravens are so awesome for providing their fans with up close access to the players and coaches. I really think it helped my little 4 year old flag football player to watch the big guys practice. It seems like he takes practice a little more seriously after watching Joe call off “Down, Set, Hut!”
Since he is still too small to get in “the pit” with the big kids we had to wait around on the sidelines for someone to spot us.
That someone was Jameel McClain. He had a group visiting training camp that day from Philly. Ham and I blended in with the high schoolers long enough to hear McClain tell the kids to “Never leave the field with regrets, go after every ball, try your best on every play.” He is so right, what a great message about football and life. When it came time for McClain to sign our ball Ham was off climbing on the bleachers, which to him was much more interesting than meeting #53.
After meeting McClain, Coach Harbaugh walked up to our end of the field. Ham really wanted to meet him- “because he tells Joe Flacco what to do!” He signed a few autographs and had to go without making it to our end of the line. Ham was devistated! I couldn’t believe it…he started to cry and a stranger offered him a signed Ray Rice photo but no he wanted to meet the coach. It totally broke my heart. He recovered quickly though when he saw a cheerleader and got the same silly look on his face as last year at training camp! I told him we will try to meet the coach another time. Maybe Pop Pop will play golf with him or something:)
If you haven’t been to training camp go next year. I’ve made it my Mommy day with Ham and G will go once he learns how to sit for longer than two seconds!
GOOOOO RAVENS!:)

It’s Mini Session time!  Labor day has come and gone and the kiddos are back in school and sports.  It’s time to start thinking about your holiday cards and fall photos.  I love photographing families in the fall.  The low in the sky light and the yellow and orange colors make the perfect backdrop.  I know the economy is tough and you may not be able to splurge for an unlimited Stacy Meadows Photography session so why not meet me at my favorite park in Pasadena for a mini.  Actually, 30 minute mini sessions are perfect amount of time for the kids and the hubby:)  I am available in the evenings on Wednesday, Thursday and some Friday’s as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  The best light in the fall is about an hour before sunset.  All of the photos in this post were taken during a 30 minute mini session this summer at the park.    E-mail me to set up your appointment and to receive the reduced print price list for minis.  Christmas Card preview is coming soon!

and… LETS GO RAVENS:)

I took one look at baby D and OH MY GOODNESS! I usually don’t feel the pang when I photograph newborns but I was really feeling the pang with this sweet little girl.  She was a dream to photograph and I seriously thought about slipping her into my camera bag!  We had so much fun dressing her up and she let us do anything!  It’s photos like these that make me think about trying for a girl…

This spring I met up with three awesome kiddos and their Mom at my favorite park in Pasadena for a 30 minute session.  Aren’t they so cute? The little one with the pigtails… totally melted my heart:)

Last month I met up with Baby E’s Mom, Dad and Big Brother for an awesome beach and park maternity session.  Last week I got to hang out with him for the afternoon for his newborn session.  Welcome Baby E!

Here are the boys just in time for Valentines Day!

I slicked back both of the boys hair to give them that 50′s vibe.  My husband said they really look like his Dad.  The truth is they needed haircuts and it was sticking up!

Have a fantastic day with the ones you love!

I really, really couldn’t have come up this outfit if I tried…pajamas (at 3:00 in the afternoon), paper hat from Hershey Factory, super hero cape from Santa, and some “gubs” – “Cause I don’t want to get any germs from the food at my restaurant Mommy”…

So then it’s decided that G needs his cape at the resturant too- I put the cape on, turn my camera on him, he sits down, gives me this look and says “CHIZ!”  Really, this early- I was hoping for at least a few more months before I got the chizzy grin…

and some more, just for fun of “the caped crusaders” on Christmas morning…

Super Brett…

and G- before we realized the collar flipped down-oops.

Christmas Eve at our house-

January 5, 2010

Christmas eve was pretty quiet at our house this year.  We had my parents and my Pop over for dinner and had the boys in bed by 8:30.  For some strange reason we had to wake g up at 9:00 am!  All of these are quick, flashy snapshots- sorry, I was in a hurry to get to church.  Wrestling the cookies away from G so we could leave Santa some-

and we said goodbye to our Elf on a Shelf- I was really hoping he would stay with us for the whole year!

Finally Santa came… Funny story- Everything was out by 11:30pm when I started making the Chocolate Truffles for Christmas day. I hear Ham open his door around 12:30 am. I catch him at the bottom of the stairs. He takes a look at all of the gifts and flatly states… “A new doggie, why’d he bring me a new doggie? I already have a doggie.” I said “I don’t know what your talking about and I scooted him up to his bed. The next morning he had no recollection he had ever gotten up!
