Mini Session Update…The weather is looking really nasty for this weekend so I’ve postponed the March 13th Mini Sessions until March 20th.  Now is the perfect time to update those photos of your children.   There are 4 sessions left for March 20th.  Please see the post below for all the details and e-mail me at meadowsmoments @ verizon.net to book your session.

Here are some photos from a little mini session I did with 2 of my sister’s 4 children this weekend…

We are thrilled to announce that my sister, Cindy, opened a boutique gift store in Dunkirk, MD which is about 30 minutes south of Annapolis in Calvert Co.  She is gathering an e-mail list to share discounts and promotions which you can sign up for right here:

Happy March!  The month that comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.  I love Spring!  It is a time for renewal and spring cleaning.  After all of this snow I’m excited to see green grass and again!

Take a quick look at the photos on your desk or your walls… Do they need updating?  Mine do!  I’m currently looking at a photo taken of Brett in June of 2007 on my desk!  Now is the time to do some cleaning out of our photos and update them this spring!

Contest Winner!
Homestead Gardens, Davidsonville, MD
Feathered Friends Photo Contest

I’m excited to announce that I was one of the winners in the Homestead Gardens Feathered Friends Photo Contest!  During the blizzard in February the boys and I made an effort to feed the birds.  It was wonderful for the boys to watch the birds so active at the feeders during the storm.  I snapped this photo of a cardinal when he finally landed for more than 30 seconds!

When Homestead announced their Feathered Friends photo contest on Facebook, I knew the perfect photo… and I won a Homestead gift card!  So, I will be using the gift card to purchase potted flowers for the upcoming Spring mini sessions.

While we are thawing out up here in Maryland the Baltimore Orioles are having their “opening day” of sorts in Spring training.  Today they play Tampa Bay- We (Hubby) are big baseball fans in the Meadows household.  So, to honor spring training – and summer around the corner- here are some shots from the ultimate summer pastime taken a few years ago- when I could attend a baseball game with just my camera bag instead of a diaper bag!

To kick off 2010 I’m offering a booking incentive.  Book a session for any time this year by March 1 and receive 25% off the session fee- this includes weddings, babyplan and full sessions!  So, while you’re digging out from the latest snow storm -dig out your calendars and book some sessions for warmer months!  My session dates are generally Wednesday- Sunday with the best time being about one hour before sunset.  Please e-mail me at meadowsmoments@verizon.net to book your session.

For your viewing pleasure here is G on the bigwheel before the snow-

Here are the boys just in time for Valentines Day!

I slicked back both of the boys hair to give them that 50’s vibe.  My husband said they really look like his Dad.  The truth is they needed haircuts and it was sticking up!

Have a fantastic day with the ones you love!

Well here we go again!  The snow has started to fall and hubby chose to stay at work through this one- I’m thinking he’s one smart man since the boys are already going a little stir crazy.  Thank goodness I have lots of photography business to work on after the boys go to bed!  I will have a new e-mail going out sometime this weekend so e-mail me if you want to be on the list for the updates and new things coming this year!  Just for fun a little image from the last snow storm…

How sweet is she?  Lucky for Miss G’s parents she was born just before the snow storm and they were home snuggling throughout the whole thing.  Lucky for me I have 4 wheel drive and could still make her appointment!

and a little sneak peek at her birth announcement…

Let’s Go RAVENS!!  If we win one of my favorite students (boy) will be wearing a pink Raven’s jersey tomorrow!!

Last night we taught G the fine art of the pajama snow dance, ya know just in case!
